JoFTA MATRICULATION GUIDELINES



MATRICULATION CEREMONY FOR ND/HND 1 STUDENTS

The Matriculation Ceremony for new ND/HND 1 students for the  2023/2024 Academic Session  has been scheduled to hold on Saturday, 24th February, 2024 in the School premises.


All concerned students are therefore enjoined to abide by the following regulations: 


1. Matriculating students shall gather in Hall 7 by 8:30 a.m. and be led by their HODs in a procession to the Ceremony ground;

2. All matriculating students must be seated in ceremony ground by 9:30 a.m.;

3. All matriculating students shall be in their complete academic robes;

4. Fresh students without academic gowns shall not be allowed to enter the Ceremony ground;

5. No matriculating students even with academic robes, shall be allowed to enter the Ceremony ground after the Rector/Academic Staff’s Procession has entered;

6. All phones must be switched off throughout the matriculation programme as snapping pictures shall not be allowed until after the ceremony;

7. All matriculating students should come along with a copy of their biodata form with their passport photograph affixed to the form;

8. All matriculating students shall sign and submit the Matriculation Oath in triplicates immediately after the ceremony; and

9. Matriculation register shall be distributed and must be signed by all fresh students in the Ceremony ground.
